The copper and enamel Dye Shed was inspired by the view from my upper metals workbench at Penland School of Arts and Crafts. Since leaving Oregon in 2008 I have been on a search for a place in which my sole can call home. Working with this familiar shape grounds me until I find a place to land. Penland is a places where my heart feels at home.
